I spent yesterday evening trying to regroup from yet another blunder-filled loss by the Cleveland Browns. I thought for sure they’d get stomped by the San Diego Chargers yesterday, so the fact they hung in until the last second is positive, I guess. Of course, this hardly means the Browns are devoid of goats from the defeat.
That said, an area I have surprisingly no complaints about is one which is always a lightning rod for criticism in Cleveland. Believe it or not, for what seems like the first time in forever, the Browns’ loss had little to do with quarterback play. There were a ton of problems across the board for the team, but veteran Josh McCown was not the source of any.
