Prepping for the upcoming MLB trade deadline, I initially assumed the Cleveland Indians were going to sell, but probably not move anything too big. Still technically in the hunt for a wild card spot, it really didn’t make sense for Cleveland to trade any major players.
There’s a chance I may have been wrong on that one.
According to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports, the Indians are willing to listen to trade offers for starting pitching, and he specifically lists Carlos Carrasco as a prime candidate to be moved. Passan claims Cleveland has already spoken to the Toronto Blue Jays about a potential deal.
