With the NBA regular season down to just a handful of games, fans of perspective playoff teams are starting to see potential first round matchups take shape. For Cleveland Cavaliers fans, there was reason to be a little nervous about a possible opening round date with the Miami Heat.
Now, obviously it sounds ludicrous for a Cavs team which has been on a roll for the past few months to be wary of a Heat club who came into last night sitting six games below .500. At the same time, this was a Miami squad who had beaten Cleveland twice in three games this season. Though the Cavs’ lone win was largely one-sided, their two losses were practically unwatchable for Cleveland fans.
