For the second year in a row, the Cleveland Cavaliers find themselves in the Eastern Conference Finals. However, there are very few similarities between last year’s trip and the one Cleveland is currently on.
The most obvious difference between this year and last revolves around the team’s superstar, LeBron James. While he’s still clearly the best player on the Cavaliers, the reliance on him has started to wane a bit, at least to this point in the postseason. James is still logging plenty of minutes, sure, but to say he’s wearing himself down would be inaccurate.
The reason for this is both clear and incredibly welcome for those who’ve followed Cleveland during his time there. At long last, James is finally getting the kind of support he needs from his teammates.
