I really thought things would be different for Josh Gordon this time. Fresh off a season-long suspension for substance abuse, the Cleveland Browns wideout appeared to have finally seen the light. The rededication to the game, the public vow to stop running with troublemakers, the videos of his intense and focused workouts. It all lent credence to the idea that maybe, just maybe Gordon had changed.
But as they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same.
