Johnny Manziel’s Second Chance with the Browns Has Arrived

Well, it’s official. Josh McCown, who would’ve regained his job as starting QB for the Cleveland Browns had he been cleared from NFL concussion protocol, is out Sunday. Johnny Manziel will start against the Tennessee Titans this weekend, looking to erase memories of the last time he played a regular season game in Cleveland.

However, this game has now become way bigger than initially thought, at least for Manziel. For him, this is much more important than a Week 2 game against the Titans looks at surface level. For Manziel, this is officially his second chance, one which, at a certain point, looked like it may never come.
