Since taking over the Indians, owners Paul and Larry Dolan have become notorious for their refusal to break the bank in attempts to acquire big-name free agents. While other owners often open up the checkbook in order to help their teams contend, the Dolans instead have a history of avoiding big contracts, choosing instead to build the Indians along slowly.
