Cleveland Cavaliers Badly Need to Improve Late-Game Offense

Yes, the Cleveland Cavaliers are officially one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals after last night’s Game 5 victory over the Chicago Bulls. Yes, they put themselves in this position thanks to a purely dominant LeBron James, coupled with a gutsy performance from Kyrie Irving. There is certainly reason for Cleveland fans to be excited this morning (well, cautiously excited, it’s Cleveland sports after all).

That said, if the Cavs want to finish off this series Thursday night, there’s still some room to improve. And, if you’re looking for the biggest issue, it’s Cleveland’s attempt to hold on to sizable leads late in the game.
