Blowouts, key injuries, back-to-back buzzer-beaters. This Eastern Conference semifinal bout between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls seems to have it all. The most recent game featured the Cavs, desperately needing a win to avoid going down 3-1 in the series, prevailing on a last-second shot from LeBron James yesterday afternoon.
After watching James – and the Cavaliers as a whole – struggle through most of the game, after seeing him and many of his teammates tough it out through various injuries, it was hardly the finish anyone thought they’d witness. It was unbelievable. It was amazing.
It almost didn’t happen.
