From the Archives: Josh McCown Expecting to Start is Bad News for Cleveland Browns

When you have an offseason like the one the Cleveland Browns are enduring, you find yourself saying “well, it can’t get much worse than this, can it?”

There’d be no fault in anyone assuming such a thing. Because, theoretically, you’d think it couldn’t get worse than your top receiver being suspended for an entire year. Than the team’s first-round draft pick and assumed quarterback of the future going to rehab. Than a GM admitting he was illegally texting coaches during games. Than an owner accused of meddling in any and all aspects of the entire franchise. Than the team deciding to raise season-ticket prices for the first time in seven years. Than an unveiling of a “new” logo falling flat on its face.
